On Sunday we went to church at Ricks church in Paris Hill. They had their grand opening since he has taken over as Pastor and they have renamed the church as Grace Baptist Church. After church we headed over to my mother in laws for a cookout. It was nice to see everyone and for the kids to play with their cousins. I was feeding Brody while we were there and he smiled at me for the first time. I had noticed the day before that he was smiling more, but it never seemed to be at anyone. He definitely is looking at faces now and giving us the biggest smile. I can't believe he's already a month old.

Well as most of you know, we had our third son. Brody Randall was born August 29th at 7:30am. He weighed 6lbs 14oz and was 20 inches. I had him here at our home with a midwife. Randy and the boys were all there to welcome him at the birth. Calvin and Grant were great through the whole thing. Labor had started early that morning so we let them sleep right up until he was about to be born. So things worked out great. Its been an adjustment to having three kids, but it hasen't been bad. Its only when we go anywhere that I really notice the change. Brody is a great baby. He is not my easiest baby out of the three, but I denfinitely can't complain. I can't believe how much he has grown already. At his 2 week check up he weighed 7lbs 10oz and had grown an inch and a half. He's almost 4 weeks now and I think he must be over 8lbs now.
Calvin's first day of school was also the same day Brody arrived so he missed it. The next day we took him to school. Even though I had just had the baby the day before I couldn't miss it. He did great just a few tears when we got there and then he was fine. I'll post some pictures of the day Brody was born and also of Calvin's first day.
